Please read the following terms carefully before using the software. By downloading, installing, or using the software, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of the following terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall and delete the software immediately.
Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to complete transactions and improve the product:
- The email address used for purchase, activation, and support communication;
- The device serial number (SN) and UUID used to bind a license to a single device — uploaded with the order as soon as you enter the purchase flow (open the checkout to generate an order), no payment completion required;
- Essential transaction records returned by payment platforms (never including payment passwords, card PINs, or similar sensitive data);
- Technical device information used for product improvement and analytics: macOS version, memory size, chip type, and model identifier, plus the capacity, model, connection type, SSD status, internal/external placement, and file system type of NTFS drives (never including volume names, disk serial numbers, or any file content).
- Anonymous visit and download statistics on this site: the first-visit traffic source (referrer, campaign parameters, landing page), a random anonymous visitor ID, and download click events — never including browsing history outside this site or any file content;
- If you choose to open the app via the optional link shown after downloading, the app stores that random download ID locally for up to 30 days and sends it with your in-app order for source attribution; if you answer the optional source question after a successful purchase, your selected answer is stored with that order;
2. Information We Never Collect
All disk read/write, diagnostics, and repair operations are performed locally on your Mac. We explicitly commit to never collecting:
- Any file content, file names, or directory structures from your drives;
- Personal data unrelated to the software's functionality, such as keystrokes, contacts, photos, or browsing history;
- Any behavioral tracking data without your explicit consent.
3. How We Use Information
Collected information is used solely for: order fulfillment and license issuance, activation verification, customer support and refund processing, and product improvement and analytics. We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal information to third parties in any form, except as required by applicable law.
(For the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom) The legal bases on which we process your personal information include: performance of our contract with you (order fulfillment, license issuance and verification); compliance with legal obligations (tax and financial record-keeping); our legitimate interests (product improvement and prevention of license abuse); and your consent where required by applicable law.
4. Storage, Security, and Cross-Border Transfers
Your information is encrypted with HTTPS throughout transmission; the local license file is protected by restrictive system file permissions (readable and writable only by the current user). Information is retained only for the period necessary to fulfill the contract and comply with legal obligations, following the principle of data minimization.
Our servers are located in the People's Republic of China (Tencent Cloud). When you use the Software from outside China, your relevant information is transferred to and stored in China; we apply safeguards such as encrypted transmission and access controls to protect it. Payment information is processed by Paddle (merchant of record) in its own systems outside China under its privacy policy.
5. Third-Party Services
When you purchase the Software through our website, payments are processed by Paddle and/or its affiliates ("Paddle"), acting as the merchant of record for such transactions. Information you submit during payment is processed by Paddle in accordance with its privacy policy; we only receive the transaction and license-fulfillment records returned by Paddle. In addition, the software uses the following third-party services:
- Sparkle auto-update framework (website download channel only): periodically connects to www.ntfs.pro to check for updates, with basic device information such as the macOS version included in the request;
- Apple App Store in-app purchase (App Store channel only): payment and subscription management are handled by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policy; we never access your payment account information.
6. Network Behavior
The software initiates network requests only at the following times:
- On every launch, it re-checks the license activation and refund status online (website download channel only; purchase status in the App Store channel is managed by Apple);
- When you enter the purchase flow (open the checkout to generate an order), the device fingerprint and disk technical parameters are uploaded with the order (see Section 1);
- Periodic software update checks in the website download channel (see Section 5).
- If you opened the app via the optional download link, the stored download ID is sent with your next in-app order (website download channel only);
- If you answer the optional source question after a successful purchase, your selected answer is sent with that order (website download channel only).
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, obtain a copy of, correct, or delete your personal information, to withdraw any consent you have given (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal), and to request that we erase related records. To exercise these rights, contact us at service01@mc-cwin.com and we will respond within fifteen business days.
(For the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom) You also have the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country. We will respond to your request within the statutory period (normally one month).
8. Protection of Minors
The Software is not directed at minors. Minors may use the Software and provide personal information only with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or guardian; if you are a guardian and have questions about your child's personal information, please contact us to have it deleted.
9. Policy Updates
Any updates to this policy will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify you through in-app notices or email.

Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Tianjin Yuanchuang Huaying Technology Co., Ltd. (registered in Tianjin, People's Republic of China, Unified Social Credit Code 91120104MAEX6DUX1W, hereinafter "we", "us" or the "Developer"), the developer and owner of DiskBee (the "Software"). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, stop using and uninstall the Software immediately.Please read and fully understand all provisions carefully, in particular those concerning assumption of risk (Section 4), disclaimer of warranties (Section 5), and limitation of liability (Section 6), which exclude or limit our liability, as well as the provisions on license verification and termination (Section 3).
2. Software License
Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license:
- Each license key authorizes use on a single device only, bound via the device serial number (SN) and UUID;
- You may not resell, rent, lend, share, or otherwise distribute the license key to any third party;
- Except as expressly permitted by applicable law, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Software.
- You may not circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Software's license verification mechanisms or other technical protection measures;
- You may not create or distribute cracked versions, key generators, or any unauthorized copies of the Software.
3. License Verification and Termination
To protect the legitimate rights of both parties, the Software includes a license verification mechanism that checks license status online at launch and when necessary (see "Network Behavior" in the Privacy Policy). In the event of verification anomalies, suspected abuse, or breach of these terms, we may take technical measures such as limiting functionality or revoking licenses.
If you breach any provision of these terms, this license terminates automatically and we may revoke your license without a refund; in serious cases, we reserve the right to pursue legal action.
Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the Software and delete all copies. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including the disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, intellectual property, and dispute resolution) remain in effect after termination.
4. Data Safety and Assumption of Risk
The Software implements NTFS read/write functionality in strict compliance with published NTFS specifications. However, you acknowledge and agree that all file system write operations — including those of the operating system vendor's own implementation — carry inherent risks in abnormal circumstances, and such risks cannot be entirely eliminated by software quality.
The following situations may result in data corruption or loss and are risks that you are responsible for preventing and bearing:
You confirm and undertake that, before performing any write operation with the Software, you have backed up your important data and will maintain backups on an ongoing basis. You bear all consequences of performing write operations without a backup.
- Forcibly unplugging the drive, disconnecting it, or losing power during a write operation;
- Writing during a system freeze, forced shutdown, or abnormal sleep/wake cycle;
- Pre-existing bad sectors, aging, or other hardware failures of the drive;
- Conflicts caused by operating the same drive concurrently with other disk utilities or drivers;
- Using the Software on unsupported macOS versions or during system upgrades or downgrades.
- Credential errors, interrupted writes, or encrypted-metadata corruption when writing to BitLocker or other encrypted volumes.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance, nor do we warrant that the Software will be fully compatible with your specific hardware, system version, or use case.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages — including but not limited to data loss or corruption, disk damage, loss of profits, or business interruption — regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We assume no liability for any loss caused by: operations performed contrary to the Software's prompts (including forcibly unplugging a drive during writes); environmental issues such as power anomalies or hardware failures; file system errors that existed on the drive before using the Software; or force majeure.
In all cases, our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Software shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the Software license. If you obtained the Software free of charge, we bear no liability whatsoever.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
The disclaimers and limitations of liability in these terms do not apply to: personal injury or property damage caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
7. User Obligations
You agree to use the Software only for lawful purposes and not to infringe the legitimate rights of any third party; to ensure a stable drive connection before write operations and to use the "Eject" function to safely unmount drives after operations; and to keep your license credentials secure — losses resulting from your disclosure of credentials are your own responsibility.Minors may use the Software and make purchases only with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for overseeing the minor's use.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Software and its related documentation, interfaces, and icons belong to the developer and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. These terms do not constitute a transfer of any intellectual property rights.
Third-party open-source components included in the Software (such as the Sparkle auto-update framework) are licensed under their respective open-source licenses, the texts of which are provided with the Software; rights in those components belong to their respective owners.
9. Unauthorized Versions
Please obtain the Software only from our official website (www.ntfs.pro) or the Apple App Store. Any so-called "cracked", "patched", or "special" versions offered through third-party channels are unauthorized, unlawful copies.
Tampered or cracked versions may contain malicious code, and using them may result in data loss, disk damage, or privacy breaches; you bear all consequences arising from the use of such versions, and we provide no technical support, updates, or services of any kind for unauthorized versions.
Creating or distributing cracked versions of the Software constitutes copyright infringement, and we reserve the right to pursue legal action against those responsible.
10. Export Control
You agree to comply with applicable export control and economic sanctions laws and regulations (including those of your country or region) and will not make the Software available, transfer, or otherwise export it to any person or destination prohibited by applicable law.
11. Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. Revised versions will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date; for material changes, we will notify you through in-app notices or email. Your continued use of the Software after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms; if you do not agree with a change, please stop using and uninstall the Software, and any fees you have paid will be handled in accordance with the Refund Policy.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-law rules). Disputes arising from these terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring an action before a people's court with jurisdiction at the developer's domicile. Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of the protection afforded by provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of the country where the consumer has their habitual residence, including any statutory right of withdrawal or mandatory warranty rights. Sales contracts concluded through our website are entered into with Paddle as merchant of record and are additionally subject to Paddle's terms.
13. General Provisions
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Software and supersede any prior oral or written agreements on the same subject.
If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect; the affected provision will be interpreted to the maximum extent permitted by law in a manner closest to its original intent.
Our failure or delay in exercising any right under these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
You may not assign any of your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent; if we assign these terms in connection with a reorganization or merger, we will announce it on this page in advance.
Refund Policy
1. Refund Eligibility
The Software is a digital download. For purchases made through our website, payment is processed by Paddle acting as the merchant of record, and refunds are administered in accordance with this policy and Paddle's refund terms. The free version permanently provides NTFS read-only access and mount management — please verify compatibility and functionality before purchasing. A refund may be requested within 7 days of purchase for quality issues that our support team cannot resolve (such as activation failure or the Software not functioning). Requests made after 7 days or for non-technical reasons are generally not accepted.(Consumers in mainland China) Under Article 25 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests, digital content delivered online is exempt from the seven-day no-questions-asked return policy once confirmed by you; completing the purchase confirmation constitutes your acknowledgment and agreement.
Statutory right of withdrawal (EU/EEA and other jurisdictions with equivalent consumer laws): If you are a consumer located in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or another jurisdiction that grants a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content purchases, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. By purchasing the Software you expressly consent that we begin performance immediately and acknowledge that, once the download and license delivery are complete, your right of withdrawal is lost. Refunds under this statutory right are processed through Paddle as merchant of record within the applicable legal deadlines.
2. Refund Process
Submit a refund request in the app's Settings describing the issue, and cooperate with our technical support for troubleshooting where necessary. Once the issue is confirmed to be an unresolvable quality defect of the Software itself, the refund will be approved and returned via the original payment method through Paddle as merchant of record; the arrival time depends on the payment platform and your bank.Refunds for purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple under its own policies — please request them via Apple's refund page (reportaproblem.apple.com); we cannot process App Store refunds directly.
3. Consequences of a Refund
Once a refund is completed, the corresponding license key will be revoked and the Software will return to its unactivated state. Any issued invoice must be voided or offset (red-letter) in accordance with tax regulations.
4. Exceptions
Refund requests made after the Software has been successfully used for its intended functionality will not be accepted. We also reserve the right to refuse refund requests in cases of abuse, such as repeated purchase-and-refund patterns.
